Registration for the 2018-2019 school year will be August 15, 2018 from 8am-1pm
Please note your student will NOT be enrolled into a class if their immunizations are not complete.
(This is a state law,IDAPA16,Title 02, Chapter 15)
If your student will be returning to Discovery Elementary School, please complete their online RETURNING STUDENTS registration by going to the district registration page, located here: http://www.d93schools.org/Content2/registration
You will need your child's student number and date of birth. Your child should know their number, but I can email it to you if needed.
Please remember there was NO early registration for the 2018-2019 school year. If your student is planning on returning to Discovery you must complete the returning students registration for your student to be placed in a class. If you are not returning to Discovery we are sad to see you go and wish you the best wherever you are headed. Please email me and let me know that you will not be returning. Returning students that complete registration online DO NOT need to come to the school on registration day.
If you are the parent of a 2018-2019 Kindergarten student and registered at Kindergarten Round-Up you do not need to come to registration on August 15th. This is for new students who have not yet registered and returning students who have not completed the returning student registration online prior to August 15th.
**After completing your online registration, please take a moment and fill out the application for free and reduced lunch. Whether you think you qualify or not, we encourage you to apply.**
You can log in to PowerSchool after August 23rd to see your child's teacher. If you have not created a parent PowerSchool account, email me, and I'll send instructions and the web ID and password required to set that up. **Check PowerSchool periodically before school starts, as classes may shift slightly based on move ins and outs.**
Please remember you must log onto a laptop or a desktop to complete the registration process, if you use a cell phone it will NOT let you complete registration.

Please come to registration on August 15th and bring your student's birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residence, (water or power bill works best) so we may make copies for the students file. Students will NOT be enrolled into a class without this information.
We also ask that you fill out the application for free and reduced lunch whether you think you will qualify or not. You can find the link for this on the district website as well.
